Pamela Portnoy
Born and raised in Southern California, Pamela began acting at the age of seven. She is a graduate from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies. Pamela attended the Midsummer in Oxford Program through the British American Drama Academy, and the Stanislavsky Summer School through the partnership between the Moscow Art Theatre School and Harvard University.
In 2014 she produced the web series Pretty, Dumb, which was an Official Selection at the Atlanta Web Festival, the Hollyweb Festival in Los Angeles, and the Austin Web Festival. In January of 2020 she launched the podcast, No One’s Okay alongside co-host Alexa Marie Anderson. It is now available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Play.
Most recently, she produced and co-starred in the short film Harbor which was an Official Selection at the Academy Award Qualifying Indyshorts International Film Festival and the Catalina Film Festival in 2023.
Trained in classical theater, Pamela has performed in numerous stage productions and has been featured in various commercials, web series, and independent films. Her credits include performances in The Dreamer Examines His Pillow at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles, the Repertory East Playhouse’s production of Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, Polymath Theatre Company's Rum and Cookies, Investigation Discovery’s, Married With Secrets, and USA TV’s Nova Vita.
